Comfortable Bed & Breakfast with great vegetarian breakfasts & walk to Williams
The charm of the Victorian era with the luxury of the 21st century. This comfortable bed & breakfast is nestled in a lovely suburban tree lined setting, with the convenience of walking to the Clark Art Institute, Williams College, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and local Williamstown shopping and dining.
The historic House On Main Street was known as the Victorian Tourist & Antique House in a by-gone era. It was originally constructed in the mid 1700's and was moved to this site, near where Fort Hoosac previously stood, around 1830. The house was visited by such famous personalities as President Woodrow Wilson, who enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner here in 1914. There were many additions and renovations before it was fully remodeled in 1986, taking great care to preserve the quality features of the house. Today there are six spacious, airy bedrooms for our guests to enjoy.

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
We've been the Innkeepers since 2000 but Donna's parents were the innkeepers for 9 years before that. The house itself was a Victorian Guest House for a long time before that, as well.
What is your primary product or service?
Bed and Breakfast
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Tim and Donna were in the Theatre business in NYC until the opportunity to buy Donna's parent's B&B came up, and they took the big leap to the country.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our house is super comfy. Our beds are great because the come from Simmons Furniture, Donna's family's business. And Tim is an Awesome breakfast cook. Plus, we are vegans so we can cook around any food allergy or intolerance, including accommodating high protein diets.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We love our B&B but we don't want to expand to include more B&B locations.
